The WhatsApp application now supports the ability to play Facebook and Instagram videos
***********************************
WhatsApp application owned by Facebook today got a simple but very useful change. The application was updated so that it can now play videos posted on Facebook and Instagram without having to make the user navigate between separate applications. However, we still wonder why WhatsApp has taken all this time to support the ability to play Facebook and Instagram in the application, especially if we know that all three services are part of the same company.
Today’s WhatsApp app was updated so that it can play videos on Facebook and Instagram within the same app. When users receive a video on Facebook or Instagram from one of their contacts on WhatsApp, they will be able to view the video in question and will not need to exit the conversation and watch the video in a separate application.
As we mentioned earlier, we do not know why WhatsApp takes all this time to support this feature, especially if we know that WhatsApp supports the ability to play YouTube videos in conversations already, before supporting Facebook and Instagram.
This support is part of the WhatsApp update today for iOS users, which also includes the ability to give managers the ability to change the theme, description, and icon for an actual conversation. These changes will be released to Android users in the near future.
