YouTube is testing the display of videos outside the application (image-in-picture mode)

***********************************
YouTube has started testing an image-in-picture mode that allows videos to be played without the need to stay in-app where the video is played with a mini-window and can be browsed at the same time.

Featured here is that this feature is tested by YouTube for those who have no subscription and membership in RED service. The $ 10-a-month service already supports this feature but is available in only five countries around the world.
YouTube excludes music videos from this status and can only be viewed outside of the app with the RED subscription. At the same time, YouTube provides channel managers restricting some videos to take advantage of this situation and therefore keep their operation confined to the same application.
The status is activated without any user intervention as you are currently testing on the Android system and those who have a copy of Oreo.

If YouTube has already launched this feature, it will increase the viewing rate as the user can multitask like browsing another application such as Twitter, Entragram or the web via Chrome while watching a video from YouTube
